How to Use LeetAssist

Download and Install

Download LeetAssist for your platform (Windows, macOS, or Linux) from the download section below. Install the application following the standard installation process for your operating system.

Configure Your Prompts

Open the main window and navigate to the Prompt Library tab. Create custom prompts for different scenarios:

  • Python solutions with explanations
  • Java code hints
  • Time complexity analysis
  • Code optimization suggestions

You can add, edit, and delete prompts as needed. Each prompt is assigned a number (1-9) for quick access via keyboard shortcuts.

Customize Keyboard Shortcuts

Go to the Keyboard Shortcuts tab to configure your preferred shortcuts:

  • Activation Key: Choose Alt, Ctrl, Shift, or Meta as your global activation key
  • Action Keys: Customize trigger keys for each action (e.g., V for toggle visibility, arrow keys for movement)

Default shortcuts use Alt as the activation key. For example:

  • Alt + V - Toggle overlay visibility
  • Alt + Arrow Keys - Move overlay window
  • Alt + J/K - Scroll overlay content
  • Alt + 1-9 - Capture screen with prompt 1-9

Purchase a Session

To receive real AI responses, you need to purchase a time-based session:

  1. Click the "Activate Session" button in the main window
  2. Complete the payment via Razorpay (secure payment gateway)
  3. Your session will be activated immediately after successful payment

Without an active session, the app will return dummy text. Sessions are time-based (e.g., 2 hours) and start counting down immediately after activation.

Capture and Analyze

During your interview, use one of these methods to capture your screen:

Keyboard Shortcut Method:

Press Alt + 1 through Alt + 9 to capture your screen with the corresponding prompt. The overlay window will appear with the AI response.

Mobile Controller Method:

  1. Look for the QR code in the main window
  2. Scan it with your phone's camera
  3. Use the mobile controller to capture screens and select prompts

Tip: The overlay window is invisible to screen sharing. You can position it anywhere on your screen and it won't appear in recordings or shared screens.

Navigate and Control

Use keyboard shortcuts to control the overlay window:

  • Alt + V - Show/hide overlay window
  • Alt + T - Toggle theme (light/dark)
  • Alt + O - Toggle opacity
  • Alt + = - Increase overlay size
  • Alt + - - Decrease overlay size
  • Alt + Arrow Keys - Move overlay window
  • Alt + J/K - Scroll overlay content
  • Alt + PageUp/PageDown - Scroll by page
  • Alt + Home/End - Scroll to top/bottom

Time-Based Sessions

LeetAssist uses a pay-per-use model with time-based sessions. Purchase a session to unlock real AI-powered responses for a specific duration.

Example Pricing:

  • • 2 hours: ₹1000 (approximately $12 USD)
  • • Sessions start immediately after payment
  • • Timer displayed in the main window
  • • No subscription required

How to Pay

  1. Open the App: Launch LeetAssist and open the main window
  2. Click "Activate Session": You'll see this button in the top-right corner of the main window
  3. Complete Payment:
    • You'll be redirected to Razorpay's secure payment gateway
    • Choose your preferred payment method (Credit/Debit card, UPI, Net Banking, etc.)
    • Complete the payment securely
  4. Session Activated: Once payment is verified, your session will be activated automatically. You'll see a timer showing the remaining time in the main window.

Secure Payment: All payments are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We never store your payment information.

Note: You can use the app for free to test the overlay, screen capture, and navigation features. However, to receive real AI responses, you need an active paid session.
